I use the Time Capsule for storage as well as backups (Sparsebundles) for a number of Macbooks.
I see that the drive is about 60% full and have been thinking about defragging the Time Capsule drive. I know that Macs handle disk defragmentation quite well for files < 20MB in size but does nothing with larger files.
How does one use the terminal command "sudo periodic daily weekly monthly" to defrag the Time Capsule drive? Are there any drawbacks or concerns relating to the various Sparsebundles?
Your advice is appreciated,
John

Sorry about the lack of replies. Perhaps you'll have a better chance of a reply in a Macintosh-orientated forum, for example
