Associate file extensions in Windows 7
I can not see how to associate a file extension with an installed programme in Windows 7. Associating a programme with an extension is evident and well documented both in Help and through an Internet search. Can anyone assist please?

Re: Associate file extensions in Windows 7
Thank you Hans - I had visited that site amongst others in my search to find an answer to my problem. However I am pleased to tell you that moments before I read your response I found a solution but have yet to satisfy myself as to exactly how the result I wanted came to be achieved. It certainly wasn't by associating the file extension in Windows!
I am grateful for small mercies as I am for your input.
