HP 1180C Print Driver for Win7 32bit

Where is there a driver or alternate driver for the HP 1180c printer suitable for Win7 32 bit

Have you tried downloading / installing the Vista drivers seeing that there isn't a W7 one on the HP website ?

According to this thread on the HP Support Forum, you can use the driver for the Deskjet 1120c that comes with Windows 7.

Thanks forthe info. Checked it out but mine is a 32 bit home vs. Does not have those printers listed at all.

However I will now go searching for a 1220 Win7 driver.

Check for the Deskjet 1120c Driver. One site is at:

Problem Solved!!

I went to Add Printer - go in two screens where it gives list of printers on Win7 1220c or 1120c were not there. Then push on the same screeen the Update Windows button. It will go away and populate the printers on Win7 with all new releases etc. Have another look and you will find 1220c and 1120c.

I then added the 1220c to my computer. Then check the 1220c printer properties/ports and ensure that usb virtual printer is selected.

Select a page to print and away it goes. Well it is quite simple once you know how.

Note that the 'update windows' and the 'usb virtual port' are the things to watch for.
