Search other extensions
I'm in Win7 and want to know where I'm having files with extension ".pspimage" on my HD. Win7 search doesn't index this one. Is there a way to find these or must I add this extension to the index-setup?

Re: Search other extensions
You'll have to add it to the list of indexed extensions:
- Activate the Indexing Options control panel.
- Click Advanced.
- Activate the File Types tab.
- If pspimage isn't listed, type it in the box at the bottom and click Add.
- Make sure the check box for pspimage is ticked.
- OK your way out.
- Activate the Indexing Options control panel.
- Click Advanced.
- Activate the File Types tab.
- If pspimage isn't listed, type it in the box at the bottom and click Add.
- Make sure the check box for pspimage is ticked.
- OK your way out.
Best wishes,
Hans

Hello... I have found this useful search tool "Everything" http://www.voidtools.com/ that is a lot easier to use than the one in Windows "7" ...No indexing to do , just do the initial setup (choose What drives you want to search) that's it done , and it "Wicked Fast", usually before you have finished typing the entry in.
