98 issue

Post by sathya »

Hi All,

Thanks for looking at my post. I have some executable file which work well in 98 but it does not work in windows 7. Does any one knows how to make it work?

Basically, i dont want to install 98. I would like to call the 98 file in windows 7 and able to run in windows 7 itself.

Any idea is much appreciated.

Thanks
Sathya

It might need to be run in compatibility mode.
Try this advice...

Have you tried specifying Windows 98/Windows ME compatibility?

Time for some more detail. What is the executable file? What is it supposed to do? What does it actually do? Where did you get it from?

I saw the Guitar Pro icon about half way down the page, but since I knew the article was all about compatibility settings, I never scrolled ALL the the way down to see that screenshot.
