Time Stamp

Post by BobH »

I've just noticed that the time/date displayed in the lower right corner of my screen shows the incorrect time. It displays 1 hour earlier than current time for my time zone. I checked CP>Date & Time and found this . . .
clock.png
which indicates to me that my settings are correct.

Activate the Internet Time tab of the Date and Time dialog.
Click Change Settings...
In the Internet Time Settings dialog, click Update Now.
If that doesn't help, try selecting a different server from the dropdown list and try again.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks, Hans!

That did it. The Internet Time was set to sync with time.windows.com. I changed it to time.nist.gov then clicked Update and all is well.

I had tried just clicking Update before the OP without success. Maybe I was not linking to time.windows.com in my setup.
