Windows Updates

Post by RonH »

Fun times!

I have the usual large MS updates to install but how??
I go to Show all available updates, click on them, return to the main screen and all I see is the 'Get started with Windows 10' again ... though looking at the MB size it clearly is not the W10 file download.

But I don't want W10, not now at least.
How can I install the monthly updates?
Cheers Ron

Thanks Dave.
So do I understand correctly that by selecting the list in All available Updates you automatically stop the install of W10 when clicking Get Started? Seems a very odd way to get around the W10 install. W10 does not show in my All Available Updates so I can't click it off ... though as I said the MB size of selection is not in GB.

Click on Show all available updates
Switch to the optional updates tab
DECELECT Windows 10
Right click Windows 10 and hide it
Switch back to the Recommended updates tab
Select any updates you want to install
OK
