Is it possible to display the entire path of the file being copied.
When I copy an entire directory including all folders, all I see is the root folder not the sub-folder from which the file is being copied from.
What is displayed if a file is copied from R:\Folder01\SubFolder01\File Name
Name: File Name
From: R:\
To: W:\SomeFolder
File Copy/Show Sub-Folder Structure

I'm not sure what you are asking here?
Do you want to see the full path of a copied file?
If you click in the address bar of Windows Explorer, it shows the full path, not just the bread crumbs.
You can also right click on the file while holding SHIFT to get a command called Copy as Path that copies the files full path to the clipboard.

Re: File Copy/Show Sub-Folder Structure
When you copy a large number of files, Windows shows the progress in a small window. I think John wants to see the full path of the file currently being copied in this window.
I thought it looked like this in Windows 7:
Individual file names/paths aren't shown at all.

Re: File Copy/Show Sub-Folder Structure
You can use the More Details button which shows the current file being copied...but thats about it.
Alternative is tio use a 3rd party copy tool like TeraCopy or others seen here which shows the full paths.

Re: File Copy/Show Sub-Folder Structure
Rudi/Hans,
I would like to see the full path of the file being copied. An example of the path: R:\Folder01\SubFolder01\ I thought there may be a setting somewhere within Windows 7 that needed a tweak.

Re: File Copy/Show Sub-Folder Structure
The only way is to use a 3rd party app as I mentioned above. (See link).
