How does one stop Windows Live Messenger starting when you start or reboot the computer?
I can not find it in the "startup" section.
Thanks,
John

Re: Windows Live Messenger Popup
You can always uninstall it. Or did you want to keep it and only load it when you want to use it?

Re: Windows Live Messenger Popup
If you'd rather not uninstall it, open Windows Live Messenger.
Select Tools | Options...
Click the Sign In section.
Clear the check box "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on to Windows".
Click OK.
