Buying Windows 7 - on the cheap

Post by WyllyWylly »

I searched the forums and did not find an answer, so if there's already a thread please direct me towards it. In the past, there have always been places where you could find Office, Windows et al at a steeply discounted price. Anyone know of such resources for Win7? I'm ready to upgrade my daily driver now that I've completed a major project and have time to work out the kinks...

Not so much help as I'd hoped... the family pack looks good, but is apparently sold out. I'll have to research that one a bit more, provided my kids' PC can handle the upgrade. Good lead, though, thanks!

The Student version is usually the cheapest available, so if you'd somehow manage to qualify...

Thanks Joe, seems they have Win 7 Professional for 65 bucks. Now I need to find a student that's eligible.
