A hundred thousand posts in Eileen's Lounge
Dear fellow Loungers,
It is almost three-and-a-half years ago that we founded Eileen's Lounge. We had no idea whether it would be viable. After a great start, it gradually became quieter, and there have been times when we thought it would slowly fizzle out. But during the last months, we've seen a modest growth.
Today, the 100,000th post was made.
Congratulations, Leif! Here is your reward: 00000
And to all of you: thank you very much for making Eileen's Lounge such a great community! It's party time!
Have a drink on us (with or without alcohol, whichever you prefer).
Charlotte, Claude, Hans, Leif, Mike and Stuart

Re: A hundred thousand posts in Eileen's Lounge
I confess that I've just found you after those 3 1/2 years.
I've wondered where all of "us" went, then saw the posting on the WS Lounge about Big Al Doc's passing.
Glad to be back!

Re: A hundred thousand posts in Eileen's Lounge
I for one have received invaluable assistance on the lounge. I am very appreciative for the time and effort that others have put out giving assistance. I hope I can reciprocate in some way.
Best regards,

Re: A hundred thousand posts in Eileen's Lounge
It was a fun BD and now a more momentous day since Leif made the 100,000 post! I can visualize Eileen's Lounge Money floating down over him as happens in those commercials where a customer is the one to reach the store's goal. In this case, the Lounge's goal.
Congratulations again to Eileen's Lounge and the people behind the scenes that provide this wonderful space for us!

Cheers to the great few who allowed this smaller, more intimate community to keep going.

We are indeed fortunate to have the administration and the members that make this such a wonderful place. Thanks to all who breathe life into this forum and make it the extraordinary sanctuary that it is.
