Do you notice slow response times from Eileen's Lounge?

Thanks - I have experienced a few of those short outages lately too.

Same here for last few days. Just says "connecting".......variable time frame from a couple of minutes to longer at times.

For the past few days, in the morning, I've been getting slow response INSIDE The Lounge. By that I mean initial opening from my bookmark is at normal speed.

Just now, 8:05 am EST USA, I clicked the Vista forum to read Stuckling1's post. It took more than 60 seconds for the forum to open and an almost as long time for the thread to open.

Other than early morning, I haven't been having any delays at all.

Not a complaint on my part, Stuart. I was of the impression that you wanted to collect some observations.

Funny thing is, within minutes of making my previous post, things started "flying" again as I went to a few other forums/posts.

Not a complaint from here either. Agree with BigAl and thought it was just performance data collection.
These slowdowns are nothing compared to Woodies or that other place.
If you can squeeze out better results, so much the better!

Just encountered my first experience of this. Accessed The Lounge no problem but while typing out a rant in Scuttllebutt something went off for a coffee break and I was left with an unresponsive half typed post until it came back.

Again, not a complaint as this is the first time I've noticed a problem.

FWIW: No complaints, mind you.

Just met my first problems with response times, etc. from Eileen's Lounge.

At about 8:00 pm GMT (2:00 pm CST), response time started lagging noticeably. Then I got a general error. Here are 2 screenshots I made in case they might help.

There have been problems with our host, 1and1.co.uk, and with Internet connectivity in Europe in general.

Had the same problem starting ( for me ) at 15:00 EST. Just connecting.....
then got the same general error that BobH had shown.
Just tried now and connected OK.

Ditto for me to! Tried to connect at 2010 gmt and gave up at 2020 - All seems okay now. Same error message
